Sono nato ad Avellino nel 1986. Nel 2005 mi sono trasferito a Roma per seguire il corso di pittura tenuto da Giuseppe Modica all’accademia di belle arti. Dal 2009 ho lavorato ad una lunga serie di opere, che partendo da scenari urbani trascendevano la realtà dando luogo a misteriose strutture architettoniche. Nel 2015 nascono i primi lavori di interpretazioni di opere di grandi maestri, come Il cenacolo, La consegna delle chiavi di Perugino o l’annunciazione di Beato Angelico. In questo periodo ho ricercato sempre di più l’aspetto intrinseco della pittura, sperimentando tecniche del passato e rivisitandole con materiali contemporanei. Dal 2015 lavoro attraverso stratificazioni di sottili velature cercando di ottenere un aspetto etereo e nebbioso della superficie. Oggi vivo e lavoro a Roma.
I was born in Avellino in 1986. In 2005 I moved to Rome to follow the painting course held by Giuseppe Modica at the Academy of Fine Arts. Since 2009 I have worked on a long series of works, which starting from urban scenarios transcended reality giving rise to mysterious architectural structures. In 2015 the first works of interpretations of works by great masters were born, such as The Last Supper, The Delivery of the Keys by Perugino or the Annunciation by Beato Angelico. In this period I have increasingly sought the intrinsic aspect of painting, experimenting with techniques of the past and revisiting them with contemporary materials. Since 2015 I have been working through layers of thin glazes trying to obtain an ethereal and foggy appearance of the surface. Today I live and work in Rome.
